Outrage和Letters from two Jimas其實不算什麼,少爺演過更多稀奇古怪的角色 XDDD

The Breakthrough Performances of the Fall - NYTimes.com: "Although Mr. Kase is 36, his smooth, lean, lightly chiseled features make him look close in age to the lovers. We take him to be Enoch’s mildly eccentric prep-school buddy, who just happens to like wearing a vintage flight suit, until it suddenly becomes clear that nobody else can see him. Mr. Kase also gives his brave, timeless young pilot a quiet gravity that grounds the film whenever he’s on screen. In contrast to the morbid and wildly neurotic Enoch, he’s matter of fact, very sensible, and more than a little exasperated by his friend’s extravagant moods. At one overheated moment the boy shrieks at him: “You’re a pathetic ghost. You took the easy way out,” and the ghost punches him in the nose. After all, Enoch has his life to live, and Hiroshi’s is gone. Mr. Kase is an award-winning actor with more than 50 films to his credit, so various that they’re almost bewildering. Among other parts, he recently played a bespectacled gangster in Takeshi Kitano’s “Outrage” (opening Dec. 2) and one of the Japanese soldiers in Clint Eastwood’s “Letters From Iwo Jima” (2006). Although he’s based in Japan, Mr. Kase has been bilingual since early childhood, when his father’s business affairs took the family to Bellevue, Wash., for several years. Given the unobtrusive grace of his work in “Restless,” one can only hope he appears in more films here. By the end of this one he’s made us believe in him too, and so does Annabel — call them kindred spirits. We should all be so lucky to have a thoughtful, good-looking ghost at our side to see us across to the other one."
